Interesting geometric pattern on this egg, has the dried yolk inside.
These two chairs were stored inside most of their life. They've been outside under a patio roof the last few years.
It was designed by Nambe, 1967 copyright. It could be older than that. They just retired this line.
It is an aluminum based metal alloy, seven different metals, no pewter lead or silver. It weighs
about eight pounds. It does have a few little scratches but can be buffed.
My parents bought this in Italy during the fifties. They thought it was authentic but it is a copy. Interesting that it is painted on a very heavy piece of old wood.
All is unknown about this painting.
