Viewit.com is the culmination of two professions: wilderness guiding and website design. As a veteran guide and instructor of kayaking for over twenty years I have always had my favorite products. When I left my job with Sea Kayaker magazine as ad manager in 1995 and began a new career as a web designer I created an online boutique which slowly materialized into this online store.

My other hobbies of gardening, bird watching and being a serious dog owner attracted me to other products I can stand behind. Appreciating comfortable travel and home living brought in products like Bucky! I find most of my products when I attend the Outdoor Retailer show each year to keep up on gear trends.

I've heard that the store is an eclectic mix of items - that is a reflection of my interests!
